In the last ten years alone, Clarence IDA projects have created over 500 new jobs in Clarence, while keeping the costs to the community per project at the lowest rates of any community in the area. The incentives and guidance given to businesses over the years have allowed innumerable companies to locate or expand in Clarence that otherwise may have not have been able to.

The benefits to the residents of Clarence include a more even distribution of the tax base between residential and commercial development, resulting in one of the lowest property tax rates in all of Western New York.
